Sled Push Technique Basics
Build stronger mechanics for efficient force transfer and less energy waste.

Most athletes lose time on sled push through posture, not effort. Set your body angle before you move: straight line from shoulders to heels, tight core, and neutral neck.
Drive through mid-foot, keep short steps, and avoid bouncing your torso. If the sled slows, reduce stride length and maintain pressure instead of reaching.
In training, run 4-6 repeat efforts at controlled load. Review where your form changes: usually rep speed drops when trunk stability collapses.
Race cue: controlled first 10 metres, then build. Overcooking the start usually costs more than it gains.
